MiA-Kurs in Kiel – Digitales Empowerment für Frauen

Die ZBBS bietet ab dem 6. Oktober einen neuen MiA-Kurs für Frauen ab 16 Jahren im ZEIK in Kiel-Gaarden am Vinetaplatz an. Es geht um digitales Empowerment und den Umgang mit dem Computer für Anfängerinnen. Der Kurs findet mittwochs von 15-18 Uhr statt und läuft bis Ende des Jahres.

Die MiA-Kurse („Migrantinnen einfach stark im Alltag“) richten sich an Geflüchtete und andere Frauen mit Migrationsgeschichte ab 16 Jahren, die bisher an keinen oder nur geringen Integrationsmaßnahmen teilgenommen haben.

Teilnahmevoraussetzungen:

Die Teilnehmerinnen

  • haben bisher noch keine Schul- oder Berufsausbildung in Deutschland abgeschlossen
  • haben eine auf Dauer angelegte Aufenthaltserlaubnis, eine Ausbildungs- oder Beschäftigungsduldung oder eine „gute Bleibeperspektive“ (derzeit Somalia, Syrien oder Eritrea) oder Sonderfälle, siehe Flyer

Kursinhalte:

Der Kurs umfasst 34 Zeitstunden und wird vom Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge unterstützt. Die Kurse finden in deutscher und im Bedarfsfall auch in englischer und arabischer Sprache statt. Die Kursinhalte richten sich nach den Interessen und Bedürfnissen der Teilnehmerinnen, z. B.

  • Vermittlung von ersten Kenntnissen am Computer (E-Mail-Adresse und E-Mails erstellen, digitale Kommunikation mit den Behörden, Tippen lernen, Suchen und Sicherheit im Internet, Teilnahme an Online-Meetings)
  • Exkursionen je nach Bedarf zu weiteren Kurs- und Beratungsangeboten
  • Sprachkenntnisse verbessern
  • Kontakte knüpfen
  • Ideen für ehrenamtliche und berufliche Tätigkeiten
  • Unterstützung beim Zurechtfinden in Deutschland

Der Kurs beginnt am Mittwoch den 6. Oktober und findet jeden Mittwoch von 15 bis 18 Uhr im ZEIK (Zentrum für Empowerment und Interkulturelle Kreativität) in der Elisabethstraße 68 am Vinetaplatz in Kiel-Gaarden statt.

MiA course in Kiel - digital empowerment for women

The ZBBS is offering a new MiA course for women aged 16 and older starting on October 6 at ZEIK in Kiel-Gaarden on Vinetaplatz. It is about digital empowerment and the use of computers for beginners. The course takes place on Wednesdays from 3-6 p.m. and runs until the end of the year.

The MiA courses ("Migrantinnen einfach stark im Alltag" - Migrant Women Simply Strong in Everyday Life) are aimed at refugees and other women with a migration history from the age of 16 who have not yet participated in any integration measures or have only participated to a limited extent.

Participation requirements:

The participants

  • are female
  • have not yet completed school or vocational training in Germany
  • have a permanent residence permit, a training or employment toleration or a "good perspective to stay" (currently Somalia, Syria or Eritrea) or special cases, see flyer

Course content:

The course comprises 34 time hours and is supported by the BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees). The courses are held in German and, if necessary, also in English and Arabic. The course content is based on the interests and needs of the participants, e.g.

  • Teaching of initial computer skills (creating e-mail addresses and e-mails, digital communication with the authorities, learning to type, searching and security on the Internet, participation in online meetings)
  • Excursions to other courses and counseling services as needed
  • Improve language skills
  • Establishing contacts
  • Ideas for voluntary and professional activities
  • Support in finding one's way in Germany

The course starts on Wednesday, October 6 and takes place every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. at ZEIK (Center for Empowerment and Intercultural Creativity) in Elisabethstraße 68 at Vinetaplatz in Kiel-Gaarden.
